As Head of Design and Exhibitions at the Museum of London for more than six years, Leigh managed the team of twenty in-house and external designers and designed specific areas of the £22m refurbishment of the lower galleries.
During this two year development period for the museum, Leigh not only steered, mentored and advised the design team to deliver the galleries to world class standards, but also managed the design of many of the supporting areas such as the new restaurant, cafes, schools dining and education areas.
The new brand also fell to Leigh’s control and she ensured that branding guidelines were rigorously adhered to by all departments.
