Leigh Cain Creative was awarded the tender in early 2020 and is currently working with English Heritage to completely redesign the museum in Richborough, Kent. The new museum will provide four zones to explore this earliest and most important of Roman settlements, using the collection and external fort ruins to help interpretation.
The key aim will be to help visitors imagine the massive stone arch that was built (see the white rectangle on the main image) to symbolise the gateway to Britannia.
The team consists of studio hb (2d), Clay Interactives (AV + interactives) and Sutton Vane Associates (lighting).
